IPL Season 6 Match 10 (MI vs DD) Results

The tenth match of IPL Season 6 ( IPL 2013) was played between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Daredevils on Tuesday, 9th April, 2013 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. 


Mumbai Indians won the Toss and chose to bat first.

Mumbai Indian won their first match at their home pitch.  Mumbai Indians won against Delhi Daredevils by 44 runs in this match.   This is the 3rd loss for Delhi Daredevils in three matches. Mumbai Indians made a score of 209 for 5 wickets in 20 overs in th3 tenth match of IPL 2013 .Delhi Daredevils made 165 for 9 wickets in 20 overs.

Mumbai Indians are the first team to breach the 200 mark of score during IPL Season 6.   Before this game, all the nine teams produced low scores with 165 being the highest ( by Rajasthan Royals).  Now that trend has changed by a perfect batting by Dinesh Karthik and Rohit Sharma.

  • Mumbai made 38/2 in 6 overs.   A score of 50 was made in 43 balls, while 100 runs took 73 balls.  150 runs were made in 98 balls and 200 in 118 balls.
  • Delhi lost Unmukt Chand in first ball of the innings bowled by Harbhajan Singh.  He was caught excellently by Ricky Ponting.
  • Warner fought a lone battle for DD.  He made 61 runs out of 37 balls with 5 fours and 4 sixers.
  • DD made 46/2 in 6 overs
