IPL Season 6 Match 25 Results ( SRH Vs KXIP )

The 25th  Match of IPL Season 6 was played between Sunrisers, Hyderabad and Kings XI Punjab  at  Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad  on friday, 19th April, 2013. 

The toss was won by Kings XI Punjab team and they chose to go for batting first.   Sunrisers, Hyderabad  emerged as winners of the match by 5 wickets ( 7 balls remaining).  GH Vihari of Sunrisers, Hyderabad  is declared as Man of the Match.

Kings XI Punjab had done batting first.  They made 123 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs.  Sunrisers, Hyderabad scored 127 runs for 5 wickets in 18.5 overs.  The Sun Risers, Hyderabad continued their winning position at their home.

Thisara Perera hit 3 sixers in the 19th over to seal a close low-scoring contest for  Sunrisers  by 5 wickets against Kings XI Punjab.  Sunrisers required 18 runs off the final 12 balls.  Azhar Mahmood was given the bowling for the penultimate over.  Perera has hit a six off the first ball and the fourth and fifth balls and brought Sunrisers to victory with 7 balls still remaining.
