The thirteenth match of IPL Season 6 was played between Pune Warriors India and Rajasthan Royals at Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium, Pune on Thursday, 11th April, 2013.
The toss was won by Rajasthan Royals and they chose to go for batting first. Pune Warriors won the match by 7 wickets with 8 balls still remaining. Pune Warrierors India had continuous eleven losses in this IPL Seson 6 and this is the first victory for Pune Warriors. This is the recorded first win for Pune Warriors in Pepsi IPL 2013 season.
Pune Warriors started with openers Robin Uthappa and Finch. Harmeet Singh's 2nd over was taken apart for 17 runs, before Uthappa dismantled S Sreesanth hitting him for two sixes and a boundary to bring up Pune's 50 in just 3.4 over. James Faulkner provided the much needed breakthrough as Rahul Dravid pulled off a blinder to send Uthappa (32) on his way.
