IPL Season 6 Match 25 Results ( SRH Vs KXIP )

The 25th  Match of IPL Season 6 was played between Sunrisers, Hyderabad and Kings XI Punjab  at  Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad  on friday, 19th April, 2013. 

The toss was won by Kings XI Punjab team and they chose to go for batting first.   Sunrisers, Hyderabad  emerged as winners of the match by 5 wickets ( 7 balls remaining).  GH Vihari of Sunrisers, Hyderabad  is declared as Man of the Match.

Kings XI Punjab had done batting first.  They made 123 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs.  Sunrisers, Hyderabad scored 127 runs for 5 wickets in 18.5 overs.  The Sun Risers, Hyderabad continued their winning position at their home.

Thisara Perera hit 3 sixers in the 19th over to seal a close low-scoring contest for  Sunrisers  by 5 wickets against Kings XI Punjab.  Sunrisers required 18 runs off the final 12 balls.  Azhar Mahmood was given the bowling for the penultimate over.  Perera has hit a six off the first ball and the fourth and fifth balls and brought Sunrisers to victory with 7 balls still remaining. IPL 6 Match 24 Results (DD Vs CSK)

The 24th  Match of IPL Season 6 was played between Delhi Daredevils and Chennai Super Kings  at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, New Delhi  on 18th April, 2013. 

The toss was won by Chennai Super Kings team and they chose to go for batting first.   Chennai Super Kings  emerged as winners of the match by 86 runs.  MEK Hussey of Chennai Super Kings team is declared as Man of the Match.

Delhi Daredevils team continued their loss and they lost their sixth match in IPL 6 now. Chennai Super Kings team made 169 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs.  Delhi Daredevils made 83 runs in 17.3 overs for 10 wickets.

The 23rd Match of IPL Season 6 was played between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur on 17th April, 2013. 

The toss was won by Rajasthan Royals  and they chose to go for batting first.   Rajasthan Royals emerged as winners of the match by 87 runs.  Ajinkya Rahane of Rajasthan Royals  is declared as Man of the Match.


Rajasthan Royals handed Mumbai Indians their worst ever defeat in a IPL match as they demolished Ricky Ponting's men by 87 runs here on Wednesday in Match 23 of IPL 2013.

IPL Season 6 Match 21 (RCB Vs DD) Results

The 21st Match of IPL Season 6 was played between Royal Challengers, Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils   at M.Chinna Swamy Stadium, Bangalore  on  16th April, 2013. 

The toss was won by Royal Challengers, Bangalore and they chose to go for fielding first.   The match ended in a Tie.  As the match ended in a Tie,  it was decided on super over.  

In the super over, RCB batting first managed to score 15 runs after AB de Villiers smashed sixes off the the last two deliveries bowled by Umesh Yadav.  Chasing 16 runs for victory, DD lost David Warner first ball, how ever Irfan Pathan continued to hit boundary and a huge six over fine leg.  Needing 5 runs during the final ball, Ben Rohrer lost his off-stump bowled by Ravi Rampaul to give a huge victory to RCB team.  So Royal Challengers, Bangalore   team has won in the super over. Virat Kohli of RCB team was declared as Man of the Match.

Highlights of the IPL Season 6 Match 21 played between Royal Challengers, Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils on 16th April, 2013

 This is the second time that there was a super over during IPL 2013 and on both the occassions, Royal Challengers team was involved. But this time RCB team won against Delhi Daredevils during the Super Over in Bangalore on tuesday, 16th April, 2013 night.  With this victory, RCB team is on top of the points table with four wins in six matches.  Delhi team is last in the list with 5 defeats.  Delhi team earlier lost in Super Over to Sunrisers, Hyderabad.  Here are some of the important highlights of the IPL 6 Match 21 between RCB and DD teams.

• RCB batted first in the Super Over and made 15/0.  DD scored 11/2 in the Super Over.
• RCB score for each ball in Super Over is like this :  1,1,1,0,6,6.  Chris Galye and AB de Villiers batters for RCB during the Super Over.
• Umesh Yadav bowled the Super Over for DD while Ravi Rampaul did the same job for RCB.

IPL Season 6 Match 20 ( KXIP Vs KKR) Results

The 20th Match of IPL Season 6 was played between Kings XI Punjab and Kolkata Knight Riders  at Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali on  16th April, 2013. 

The toss was won by Kolkata Knight Riders and they chose for fielding first.   Kings XI Punjab  team has emerged as winners by 4 runs.  Kings XI Punjab made a score of 157 for 9 wickets in 20 overs and Kolkata Knight Riders made 153 for 9 wickets in 20 overs.  Manpreet Gony of Kings XI Punjab was selected as Man of the Match.

The 19th Match of IPL Season 6 was played between Chennai Super Kings and Pune Warriors India  at  MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on  15th April, 2013.

Here are some of the highlights of the IPL 6 Match 19 played between CSK and PWI teams on 15th April, 2013 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.  

The Chennai Super Kings Vs Pune Warriors was a tough match for Pune Warriors who lost first three of their four matches.  Due to some political issues, Angelo Matthews will not be able to lead Pune Warriors but Ross Taylor will lead Pune Warrors.
